Sensuous Beauty Divine Facial Moisturizer
I have dry skin, and it can get pretty parched during the winter months. My face is particularly challenging because my skin is also sensitive, making me prone to breakouts. I try to stick with all-natural moisturizers and body care products whenever possible, and I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw Sensuous Beauty products on EdenFantasys.com.
I was even more excited when the Sensuous Beauty Divine Facial Moisturizer I requested for review arrived smelling of all its Lavender Chamomile goodness, which is so heavenly. The 2 ounce amber bottle features a pump-top lid with a clear plastic cover. The amount dispersed with each pump is the “pea-sized” amount recommended, but I find that I usually require 2, and sometimes 3, pumps to adequately cover my face and neck.
Meant for dry to combination skin, this moisturizer contains: Distilled water, almond oil, organic aloe vera gel, beeswax, shea butter, vitamin E, grapefruit seed extract, and essential oils of lavender and chamomile. Sensual Beauty uses no synthetics or parabens, and they don’t do any animal testing.
Because of the oils, it’s important to shake well before using this moisturizer, and the instructions recommend applying it to clean, moist skin. Not really a cream or lotion moisturizer, this one has an interesting consistency. It’s a white liquid that’s more viscous than water but not nearly as thick as oil.
It doesn’t immediately soak into your skin like many face creams. Instead, it takes a while so your skin feels slightly oily no matter how well you rub it in. This is to be expected with a moisturizer like this, and doesn’t bother me. I use it at night, right after I’ve washed my face while my skin is still damp. When I wake up the next morning, my face feels nice and soft, without ant kind of stretching sensation I sometimes feel when my skin gets really dry.
Of course, Sensuous Beauty makes more than just this moisturizer. They have quite an impressive product range that includes skin care, massage, and personal lubricants. I love that there are more all-natural body care products these days, and what’s even better is now I can get them while shopping for sex toys.
Oh, and I took more pictures of the bottle. Essentials oils keep better in amber or cobalt glass, and most often products containing come in amber glass bottles. This one has a pretty label that includes use instructions and ingredients list. Feel free to take a look at the slideshow I posted on Photobucket if you’d like to see the label from all sides: Sensuous Beauty Slideshow.
