Follow-Up Friday: Croupier
Not too long ago I received a generous care package from Evolved Novelties, and the reviews for those products will be posted soon. But while testing them out, I got to thinking about the other Evolved vibrators I’ve reviewed and realized that I hadn’t used those in a long time. Curious to know if I’d still like them as much, I soon found myself distracted by my Croupier, which became an instant favorite the first time I used it, way back in June of 2010.
If memory serves, this was one of my first assigned reviews for EdenFantasys.com, and it was unlike anything I had tried up until that point. The only other non-rigid G-spot vibe I had used was a Cupid Kiss, and it was smaller, not as flexible, and had a more subtle curve compared to the Croupier. LELO’s Iris is closer in size and shape to the Croupier, but it’s shaft is totally stiff and has no surface give whatsoever.
I still keep my Croupier in its original packaging, even though that takes up storage space, because I love the little box it came in. So, it was easy to find in my sex toy storage drawer and no trouble getting two AA batteries inside. I’m glad I took the time to satisfy my… curiosity. I can now say with certainty that this vibe still rocks. My world, at least.
I remember loving the dial control, because it is so dang easy! I still think so. I recall how awesome the ridge up near the tip felt, and it’s still fantastic. I noted the lack of vibration patterns as a con when I wrote my on-site review for this vibe. Back then I was all about playing with patterns. Nowadays I want rumbly vibrations and plenty of power. I could care less about patterns, so Croupier not having any doesn’t bother me in the least. Isn’t it funny how our tastes and preferences can change over time?
Two months after I reviewed this vibe I submitted a follow-up review and stated that I would have given it 5 stars if I had the review to do over again (I only gave it 4). I rarely rate a product 5 stars, but I think Croupier is worthy. Now I need to figure out how to get my hands on some of the other Evolved Roulette vibrators.
