A couple of months ago I hosted a giveaway for a Twilite Wand Massager from Nasstoys. I love hosting giveaways in general, but that one was especially fun because the manufacturer also sent me a Twilite Wand to keep for myself. I love gifts!Made from ABS plastic, the Twilite Wand has a completely smooth, almost shiny surface (no velvet cote finish), and because the material is hard, the vibrations really travel through it.

The bulbous end is shaped similarly to other wand-style massagers, allowing for plenty of contact area. Vibes like this are ideal for clitoral stimulation, but they have the added advantage of being effective for all over body massager.

The packaging consists of a thin box, and the massager is visible through the shaped clear window on the front. Inside is a plastic insert keeping the vibe in place. The outer box around mine unfortunately got a bit damaged during shipping, but the Twilite Wand arrived otherwise unscathed.

There are actually several different model designs in the the Twilite collection, and the Wand is a medium-sized massager. It’s smaller than the Hitachi and more comparable in size to the Mini Mistress, but with the added advantage of not requiring an electrical outlet to operate.

It does require 2 C batteries, which provide plenty of power. There are only 3 vibration settings: strong continuous, even stronger continuous, and pulse. The vibrations are super powerful and rumbly, and that’s just how I like ‘em! The single push-button control is located on the battery compartment cap, and all you do is push it to turn the vibe on, keep pressing to cycle through the settings, and then push it again to turn it off.

I’ll have to admit that I wasn’t all that excited about the Twilite Wand at first glance. Mainly because I didn’t see anything extraordinary about it, and while wand massagers certainly have their uses, I already have a good number of them that I like. But this one is well worth having. For starters, it runs on batteries so there’s no cord to contend with. I know, ideally it would be rechargeable, but the 2 C batteries I originally put in it have lasted a while and are still going strong. Also, it’s waterproof. That means it’s easy to clean, and I can use it during shower time. But what I really like most about it are the lovely rumbly and strong vibrations. They feel awesome, and that’s ultimately what makes this vibe a keeper in my opinion.
