Shunga Divine Oral Pleasure Lip Gloss
Not all that long ago, I received a nice care package from Shungawith a few choice products to try, including a bottle of their Divine Oral Pleasure Lip Gloss. I’m not one to wear a lot of makeup, and I usually skip the lipstick altogether. My lips tend to get dry and chapped, so I prefer to use lip balm, if anything, on them. But I’m always up for trying something new, and this stuff doesn’t just make lips look all wet and shiny. It also produces a tingly sensation that heightens sensitivity and transfers to whoever (and wherever) you kiss.
Diving Oral Pleasure Lip Glosscontains: Hydrogenated polyisobutene, ethylene/propylene, styrene copolymer, butylene/ethylene/styrene, copolymer, menthyl lactate, glycerin, flavor, sucralose, polyglyceryl stearate, and vanillin butyl ether. Some of those ingredients sound pretty scary, and others are hard to even identify. I know, I tried to look them up to figure out what the heck they are. Suffice it to say that these are things considered safe for cosmetic use. The very first ingredient, for example, is a simply a mineral oil substitute. Do please note that this product contains glycerin, so be aware of that if you’re planning to use this on your genitals and are prone to yeast infections.
The product packaging is fairly elaborate for a tube of lip gloss. The front of the black box is actually a flap showing a couple about to kiss. On the inside of the flap you’ll see use instructions printed in several different languages:
In order for your lover to fully enjoy and experience the pleasure effects of the gloss, apply a thick layer to your lips and gently glide them onto your lover’s intimate areas to successfully rub off the gloss before using your tongue.
Sounds pretty straightforward to me! In order to get the gloss out of the box, you need to open it from the top and slide out a paper insert holding the lip gloss in place. The insert has a cool floral pattern on it, which contrasts nicely to the black box. The lip gloss itself is in a clear tube, with the stick applicator attached to the screw-off cap. I have no qualms about carrying this stuff with me in my purse. Out of the box, it looks just like any other tube of lip gloss.
While Divine Oral Pleasure Lip Gloss is meant to be strawberry and champagne flavored, to me it tastes and smells more like just a generic fruity flavor. It’s pretty sweet, but not so much to be sickly. Thankfully, it’s also a very pleasant taste and not at all like a syrupy flavored cough medicine. The amount of time it lasts will most likely vary by individual and also depends on what you do after applying it. For example, if I put some on my lips and just go about my business, I can start to feel a tingly sensation on my lips within seconds, and it lasts a good hour–yes, as a matter of fact I did time it–as long as I don’t do anything to make it wear off (like eat, drink, kiss, etc).
I would like the way it feels on my lips even without the tingling sensation. It’s not greasy, and it’s thick enough to stay where I put it. After a while, as the gloss dries, my lips stay soft, but they do seem to get just a tiny bit tacky, but that’s really to be expected I suppose. This is totally resolved by applying more. Overall, I think this is a great product and fun to use either as just a lip gloss or to enhance any kissing and oral play.
Now, I got my Divine Oral Pleasure Lip Gloss directly from Shunga, and you can certainly order it directly from their company website, but Babeland also sells it, and since they have several deals going on to celebrate Pride and the 4th of July, that’s another place to get some at a good price.

This is an interesting idea! Thanks for the heads-up about the glycerin, too.
