Follow-Up Friday: Jopen Vanity Vr10 Update
This isn’t really a follow up so much as an important update regarding the Jopen Vanity Vr10. Remember how in my original review I mentioned that the shaft doesn’t have much range of rotation? In the video, you can barely even see it twirling around, the movement was so minimal. Upping the intensity only made it go faster, without increasing the size of the rotation any. But, the motor is strong enough to prevent any compromise of power even with the clitoral stimulator at maximum speed, so I forgave it.
Well! Not long after I posted that review I received a couple of emails, one from a retailer and another from one of the product designers, informing me that all I had to do was bend the shaft to increase the rotation. So I gave it a try, and it works!
Pictured above left is the Vr10 straight out of the box, and the photo on the right is where I bent the shaft. That’s actually bent too much, though, because the rotation became so big that it wasn’t at all comfortable, much less pleasurable, for me. Other users may like it that way. This was easily remedied by straightening out the shaft a bit, making the rotation smaller.
I’m so glad that I know this little trick now. It rectifies on of my gripes about this vibe, and it also adds some variety in stimulation options, as users can play around with the shaft’s bend and rotation to see what they like best. Check out the video below to see.

That's awesome that people helped you out and you were able to make it work better. Was that not included in the instructions at all though? Seems kinda like a key thing to leave out. I wouldn't think to bend my toy to make it rotate more for fear of breaking it.
Thanks for the update. I love the video comparison. I agree with Lucid. You'd think the manual would include directions on bending the shaft, but at least they updated you so you can let the world know!
I got the same advice and posted in a series of 2 videos and posts as well. Do you think it's a common vibrator thing or really just a problem with the vr10's production?
