Vibrating Tongue Ring

I’ve been reviewing adult products for a little over a year now, and not once have I played with a vibrating tongue ring. Always willing to try something new, I readily accepted the one EdenFantasys.com offered to send me. Allow me to present the Vibrating Tongue Ring from Shots Toys. Made from a very soft and squishy TPR with a single-speed micro bullet inside, this sex toy is available in pink, purple, or blue.

The silicone flexible Vibrating Tongue Ring has been designed to provide maximum stimulation with the use of the tongue or finger.

Packaged in just a clear plastic blister attached to thin cardboard, there are illustrated use instructions and some product information printed on the back. Batteries are included and already installed in the bullet, so the Vibrating Tongue Ringis ready to go as soon as you open it.

Not only is the TPR squishy, but it’s also super stretchy, so I have no doubt it will comfortably fit a wide variety of sizes. This means its use isn’t limited to only tongues and fingers. I had no trouble getting it on my Ophoria Bliss 5, for example, temporarily turning a classic-style vibe into a dual stimulator.

The Vibrating Tongue Ringis discreetly sized, and the bullet has a simple switch to control it. Simply slide it in the direction the arrow is pointing to turn on the motor, and slide it back to turn off the power.

The bullet that comes with the Vibrating Tongue Ring has a fairly quiet motor of moderate power. I think it’s a bit buzzy, but you’ll only notice that if you take the bullet out of the sleeve, as the soft material does a great job of toning down the buzzy vibes.

I’m assuming this is meant to be a disposable bullet, and I didn’t think to keep track of my usage time before the batteries died, but I’ll guesstimate around an hour since that’s about how long these things typically last. I opened it up to see if changing batteries was possible, as the outer plastic of the bullet can be pried apart. While it was cool to see the inner workings, I couldn’t figure out how to put it all back together again, and I think a piece may be missing. The inner bits sort of sprung out all over the place when I opened it, and so I didn’t get to really see how everything was arranged inside. But it contains a wee tiny motor, 2 LR41 micro button batteries, a small metal piece, and the on/off switch. Honestly, I wouldn’t advise taking it apart to change the batteries. Just use a different bullet instead.

Speaking of other bullets, they work quite well. Here is the mini bullet from my Silicone Rabbit Pearl Deluxe inside the tongue.

Even the larger bullets will fit, although the extra length means more sticks out past the ring, making wearing this on my tongue uncomfortable, but to be honest, the Vibrating Tongue Ringdidn’t do such a great job of staying on my tongue anyway, so I didn’t spend much time playing with it that way.

That’s really my only challenge using this sex toy. With the bullet motor on, the whole thing would vibrate right off the end of my tongue unless I kept my head tilted back, which just didn’t work very well for me. I had much better luck with wearing it on my fingers. Once lubed up, and trust me, you want lube on this because it has the skin drag typical of TPR, it does feel kind of like a tongue. The tip is great for pinpoint stimulation, but the vibrations can be felt all over.

The Vibrating Tongue Ring can be used anywhere for tickling, teasing, and stimulating. The packaging says it’s waterproof, but when I pried the bullet open I could see where some drops of water seeped in, so I would remove the bullet before washing with soap and water or toy cleaner. Overall, this is a nifty little novelty product that adds a little bit of variety to masturbation, foreplay, and intercourse.

We had the exact same problem trying to get these buzzing rings to stay on when we tried it. I guess tongues just aren't made to hold vibrators (LOL).
