Bendable You Too

Evolved Bendable You Too Sex Toy VibratorI’m a huge fan of Evolved Novelties. Their sex toys are well designed, made from body-friendly materials, and affordably priced. The Bendable You Too is a recent addition to their product line, and since it’s a dual-stimulation vibe, I was excited to receive one from Fascinations to review.

The packaging is a bit different from the other Evolved products I’ve tried so far. Rather than a cute tin or plastic box, Bendable You Too comes in a clear plastic dome, which I’m keeping for storage. There is product information printed on the back, as well as outlines of different configurations the vibe can be shaped into. It always helps to have suggestions for use.

The Bendable You Too consists of a 9-inch long slender vibrator covered in TPR and a battery pack controller connected by a thin cord that measures around 30 inches long. There is the typical skin drag and lint magnetism associated with this material, but it gives the vibe a soft surface. When I first unpacked my Bendable You Too, it smelled like a new shower curtain so I washed it a few times and left it to air out. Luckily the scent dissipated after a few days. It takes 2 AAA batteries, and supposedly this vibe is waterproof, but I haven’t had the chance to test that theory yet.

This vibe has a motor at each end, with a squishy curved tip to hit the G-spot or prostate on the insertable side. The other end is where the wire connects, and its motor is meant for external/clitoral stimulation. The 2 buttons on the controller are a power button to turn the vibe on or off, and a decorative 7 button that selects the function. There are 7 vibration settings: 3 speeds of continuous vibration, escalating/roller coaster, short sharp pulse, fast short sharp pulse, and a pattern of 3 short pulses then a long pulse.

Since the buttons control both motors, that means that they’re always on the same setting. Even though it often requires more complicated controls, I prefer having dual stimulation toys whose motors can operate independently because sometimes I like a lot of power on my clitoris but not so much on my G-spot. Or vice versa, depending on my mood.

I thought the Bendable You Too would be similar to the We-Vibe II, and while they both have dual motors and can be used alone or worn during intercourse, I think the Bendable You Too is more versatile. For starters, it’s adjustable. The We-Vibe II is flexible, but you can’t really change its shape, whereas the stem connecting Bendable You Too’s motors is pliable enough to bend and curve, yet firm enough to stay however you chose to shape it. This opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.

One thing I struggled with on the We-Vibe II is the tiny little button. It’s the same color and material as the vibe itself, so finding it and pressing it during use–especially with lubed-up fingers–was a challenge for me. So, while I certainly prefer cordless sex toys, I love the Bendable You Too’s user-friendly remote. Not only is it super easy to use, but it’s also lightweight, ergonomically designed (for real, the shape fits very well in my hand), and covered in that velvet coating that I adore so much. Lovely.

I can’t speak to its effectiveness as a prostate massager, but Bendable You Too works great as a dual-stimulation toy and is easily incorporated into foreplay and worn during intercourse. My only challenge was getting it positioned right. I think in order for it to fit me better, the stem needs to be shorter. If I had the G-spot tip where it needed to be, then the external motor was too high up for me to feel any strong vibrations on my clitoris. Conversely, when I placed the external end on my clit, the squishy tip was too far inside me to properly hit my G-spot.

Somehow I got the connecting stem shaped in such a way that allowed the motors to be close enough to where I needed them to do the job. But dual-stimulation isn’t my preferred use for this toy, if you can believe that, simply because I have other toys that fit my anatomy better and work more effectively for me. However, I seriously like this one for clitoral stimulation. The squishy tip is awesome for that. Vibrations travel well through the TPR, and the little curved point can really move.

This is also a fun toy to use with your partner. The cord is limiting, but you can hand over the controller and let somebody else decide how you’ll be stimulated, which is great for teasing and foreplay. Another option is to leave the vibe in place during intercourse for a whole new experience, whether the motors are running or not. That took some getting used to for me, and after a while it became a little uncomfortable, but I think a shorter stem would suit me better. It’s also safe for anal play, just make sure to use a condom over it since TPR is slightly porous and can’t be sanitized like silicone.

Overall, I think the Bendable You Too is a great idea for a sex toy. The shape and size didn’t work quite as well for me as I had hoped, and I had to spend some time figuring it all out so there is a bit of a learning curve involved, but it still produces some kick-ass orgasms, and that’s what counts. I think it could be improved with a wireless controller, which would also make me more confident about the waterproof factor. I’d also like independent controls for the motors and soft silicone as the outer material, but considering how affordable and versatile this vibe is, I think it’s well worth the money.
