Here’s a super fun product line that was recently brought to my attention: Happenis Hats, the latest in adorable penile adornment. But before I go into details about the hats themselves, I’d like to give serious props to whoever came up with the name, as I think it’s hilarious and clever and I love it. Read more…
I’m a huge fan of Evolved Novelties. Their sex toys are well designed, made from body-friendly materials, and affordably priced. The Bendable You Too is a recent addition to their product line, and since it’s a dual-stimulation vibe, I was excited to receive one from Fascinations to review. Read more…
Having just reviewed Sliquid Oceanics, I decided to let Sliquid H2O be this week’s Follow-Up Friday, even though I never posted a review of it here. But it was the first product I reviewed on EdenFantasys.com, nearly a year ago. It was also the first glycerin-free water-based lube I ever tried, and at the time it opened up a whole new world to me. Read more…
Sliquid Oceanics is my favorite lube from Sliquid thus far. Years ago, I used their Sliquid H2O because it was highly recommended as a glycerin-free and water-based lube. I had just found out that glycerin could trigger yeast infections in some women, and at the time that was something I was struggling with. The thing is, back then all the drugstore lubes–I guess I should say BOTH of the drugstore lubes, since it was a choice between KY and Astroglide–contained glycerin, so I had to order my first bottle of Sliquid off the internet. I’d like to post an update to my Waterpik EasySelect Showerhead review. When ModernMom.com sent this to me late last spring, I hadn’t done very many product reviews, nor had I really tried a hand-held showerhead, so it was definitely a good experience for me in every way. Read more…
Have you seen the adorable Toyfriend Waterproof Vibrators? Available in many different cute shapes, I’ve been wanting to try them for a while now. So, when GoodVibes.com offered up the Bunny Toyfriend for review, I eagerly requested it.
Shaped similar to a Butterfly Kiss, only smaller and instead of a bulbous tip on the end of the shaft there are two rabbit ears, the Bunny Toyfriendcomes in a cardboard box with a clear plastic window on the front. Inside the vibe and its little plastic stand are held in place by a molded plastic clamshell tray.
There aren’t any real instructions included apart from the product information printed on the box, but this one is super easy to take care of. Since it’s waterproof, just wash with soap and water to clean, and because it’s silicone, only use water-based lube with this toy.
This one is more discreetly sized at under 6 inches long and only around an inch in diameter. The silicone has a very soft and silky-smooth surface, but there is still quite a bit of firmness to the bunny ears. I was actually surprised that they weren’t more flexible.
It takes one N size battery, which is included. There is a single button control on the end of the battery compartment cap. Just press it to turn the vibe on, and press it again to turn it off. The motor only has one speed, and it’s a moderate intensity.
Now, I know that this vibe is supposedly waterproof, but after I played with mine in the shower a few times, I noticed some nasty residue in the battery compartment where it looked like moisture had seeped in (see above photo on the right). I cleaned it all off, and the motor is still running fine, but that makes me doubt the waterproof factor, especially since that happened just from using my Bunny Toyfriend in the shower. I never totally submerged it as one might do while taking a bath.
The single-speed motor doesn’t provide strong vibration, but it’s ideal for teasing and tickling anywhere on the body. The ears are too firm to flap around like the bunny ears on a rabbit-style vibe, but they carry the vibration well and still feel good. As far as using the Bunny Toyfriend, there are several options. The bunny’s nose is great for pinpoint stimulation, with or without the ears pressing against the labia. This vibe can be positioned so that the ears fall on either side of the clitoris, or the tips of the ears are also effective at providing more pinpoint vibrations. I did try inserting the ears, hoping for some dual stimulation, but they weren’t really long enough to hit me in the right spots, and the nose didn’t quite reach up to my clitoris.
Overall, I love the fun, cute shape and the fact that this one comes with its own stand. It doesn’t look like a sex toy, so I’ve been leaving mine out on the bathroom counter. I also love this silicone! Seriously, it is an awesome material: smooth, velvety, soft, AND it’s not at all bad for attracting lint. It feels very similar to the velvet finish available on some hard plastic toys now, only better because the silicone has more give. I just wish the motor had more power.
Last summer I received a box of goodies from Pipedream to review. Included was a cute little makeup brush with a vibrating handle. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. Who would suspect a makeup brush could have any illicit purpose? Well, I might, but my point is that it’s not something that would cause embarrassment if it fell out of your handbag or the security guys decided to search through your stuff at the airport. After nearly a year of reviewing sex toys, I finally got around to trying something from Tantus, woohoo! The Elements Delta is my most recent review product from EdenFantasys.com. I requested it because I really wanted to try something from Tantus, and this product had mixed reviews, so I decided to find out for myself what it’s like. Read more…
