Je Joue G-Ki

Je Joue is a luxury sex toy company. Their G-Ki has always intrigued me as it’s the only G-spot vibe I’ve seen that’s actually adjustable. In two places. That has to be worth trying, right? I mean, a common reason certain products don’t work for certain people is because the shape and/or size doesn’t fit well with their anatomy. While the size is what it is, the ability to change the shape and curve of a toy seems like the ideal solution. Plus, I was so impressed with Je Joue’s Ami set of Kegel exercise toys that I decided the G-Ki was worth spending my EdenFantasys.com reward points.

Flexible, silicone, multifunctional G-spot vibrator with magnetic charger.

Like the Ami, G-Ki comes discreetly packaged. There is an outer box that has the company logo on the front and product information in several languages as well as a few pictures of the G-Ki in various positions on the back.

Inside is a lovely black storage box with at ribbon tie. G-Kisits in a molded, lift-out plastic tray (there’s a little ribbon tab you pull to remove it), and underneath is the owner’s manual and charging cable. That’s right, this one is rechargeable! It’s also made from silicone and is waterproof.

There are two control buttons that also serve as the magnetic charging points. A little light will blink while the battery is charging, and then when it’s fully charged the light will stay lit. It only takes a couple of hours to charge, and then it will run for a few hours, depending on use.

To operate, just press and hold the + button for a few seconds, and the motor will start at the slowest speed of constant vibration. Keep pressing the + button to increase the continuous vibration speed. Once you get to the fastest speed, pressing the + button will take you through the 5 patterns and then cycle back around to the slowest continuous vibration speed. To go back to the previous setting, press the – button. At any time, press and hold the – button to for a couple of seconds to turn the vibe off. When you turn the power back on, it always starts at the slowest speed of constant vibration. Here is the sequence:

  • 5 speeds of continuous vibration
  • a busy signal type pulse
  • a short, fast pulse
  • an escalating/roller coaster pattern
  • a revving pulse pattern
  • a faster and shorter revving pulse

To adjust G-Ki, firmly press the two buttons located on the side, one is up near the head and another is located further down the neck, close to the control buttons. Those are the points where it adjusts. While both buttons are pressed, you can move the head and neck into a few different positions. When you find a shape you like, simply release the buttons, and you’ll hear it click in place.

No matter how it’s adjusted, there’s still a little bit of wiggle to the shape. Because this is the softer silicone (that’s also prone attract lint and has quite a bit of skin drag), it’s firm but has some give, especially around the top where there’s a little more of a squishy feel. I think this is a nice balance between the really soft toys and firmer materials like metal or glass. G-Ki has enough firmness to apply some G-spot pressure, but it’s also giving enough to be good for thrusting, depending on how it’s configured.

When it’s adjusted for maximum curve, it’s also capable of providing some effective dual stimulation. This is because the vibrations can be felt all along the vibe, even down to the handle. The drawback to this is numb hands, but I love the versatility of this vibe. As far as how it feels, when fully charged G-Ki is plenty powerful enough. The vibrations aren’t as intense as a Hitachi Magic Wand, but they’re strong and not too buzzy. They even feel pretty rumbly in some of the patterns. But don’t just take my word for it, as there are plenty of other reviews for the G-Ki on EdenFantasys.com, which in addition to being an online adult toy store, is also a great sex toy review site.
