Icicles No. 21
This gorgeous glass specimen is the Icicles No. 21 from Pipedream. I’ll just go ahead and tell you right now that I totally love it. It’s my new favorite non-vibrating sex toy. So far I’ve also tried the Icicles No. 9 and Sapphire Spiral, which are both awesome glass toys, but this one wins Best in Show, hands down (and on it).
I absolutely adore the elegant design, both the overall shape and decorative flower. I think it it so freaking pretty, and I wanted it for appearance alone. But I knew I’d also like the way it feels. I’ve come to realize that curves are good, especially when they end in bulbous tips, as they’re very effective for G-spot stimulation.
Like other glass toys in the Icicles line, this one is packaged in a cardboard box with a front panel that flips open to reveal a window showing the No. 21 nestled in a foam insert. There are also life-size pictures of the toy on the front and sides of the box, and a close-up of the tip on the back and inside front flap.
Measuring around 9 inches long, the No. 21‘s shaft is just over an inch in diameter, giving it a girth of around 3 1/2 inches. It then bulges out to a diameter of 1 1/2 inches, making the girth close to 5 inches where it flares at the head before tapering to a tip. Glass toys are ideal for temperature play, as they quickly heat up under warm water or cool down in cold water. I typically run mine under warm water before using, otherwise it feels cool and takes a few moments to warm up to body temperature.
The flared base means that not only can this one stand up on its own, but it’s also safe to put anywhere you choose to use it. I love the raised flower and leaves/stems pattern, and not just for the aesthetic detail. The texture is very subtle, but it feels so nice when gently gliding against me. Glass toys are good for gliding against skin since the surface really gets slick with just a little lube. While the No. 21 is inserted so that the curve is aimed upwards towards my G-spot, I can feel the little flower gently rubbing against me.
Of course, everyone is built a bit differently. So what suits one person may not fit others in quite the same way, but I can say that the Icicles No. 21 works extremely well for me, and it’s just the right shape and size. I also like that it has some length to it, because it gives me more of a handle to work with as well as a little leverage for rocking the tip against my G-spot.
