Babeland Edible Body Chocolate

Oh, my. A few months ago I reviewed some Chocolate Body Cream, an exquisite product from Sweet Beauty. Well, the same company has produced Edible Body Chocolate for Babeland. Normally this isn’t the sort of product I would go for. I freely admit that I’m a food snob, and most of these body paints, while fine for the novelty value, aren’t so great for discerning taste buds thanks to cheap ingredients and artificial flavorings. However, after reading other raving reviews for this stuff and realizing that there is nothing in it but top quality, all-natural ingredients, I decided request some for myself to try.

Available in either 1 ounce or 4 ounce sizes, the Body Chocolatecomes in plastic tubs with screw-off tops. The ingredient list is nice and short, as it only contains:

  • Sucrose (organic sugar)
  • Theobroma cacao (organic cocao)
  • Cocos nucifera (organic coconut) oil
  • Vitis vinifera (organic grape seed) oil
  • Vanilla extract
  • Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

Let me just say upfront that Babeland‘s Edible Body Chocolatetastes delicious. The sweetness level is perfect. All other body chocolates I’ve tried were way too sweet, and I got sick of them after a few minutes. Not so with this stuff. Since it’s made with REAL chocolate and not artificially-flavored, it has a deeper and richer taste. Plus, the coconut oil adds a nice subtle flavor that goes very well with the chocolate. It’s so good that I’ve been caught eating it straight from the tub. In fact, I have to keep it out of sight now because I only have a tiny amount left.

Babeland Edible Body Chocolatecomes ready-to-use, with no prior preparation or heating required, so it’s spontaneity-friendly. It’s a smooth and fairly thin consistency that spreads really well, so you can get pretty good coverage with minimal amounts. I love how the chocolate is so dark and shiny. Thanks to body heat, once it’s on skin it melts into any little cracks and crevices just begging to be licked and sucked off.

There’s really no right or wrong ways to use body chocolate. While not exactly a sex toy, it’s still a great way to add some playful (and yummy) variety to couple play, and I’m glad I’ve finally found some that I really like. There’s potentially a bit of mess involved, which is only to be expected with this sort of product. However, I love that it leaves my skin feeling soft as opposed to covered in a sticky residue. Also, since the ingredient list includes sugar, which causes yeast infections, I’d avoid finger-painting the genitals with this stuff, but it’s good for just about anywhere else.
