Spring Vibe
I’ve come to the conclusion that rechargeable vibrators are totally worth paying a little extra for upfront because I end up saving money on the batteries I don’t have to keep buying. Plus, they really are a more eco-friendly alternative; the less batteries we use, the less to be disposed of.

Fun Factory has fixed that issue with their innovative line of Click and Charge sex toys. This truly is innovative and ultra-convenient. The charger connects magnetically to the toy, so there is no plug opening, making the vibes totally waterproof. How awesome is that?!
I’ve actually known about these toys for a while, and I’ve been wanting to try one ever since I found out about them. So, I was thrilled with the opportunity to get a Spring Vibe from Babeland.com to review.
Made from soft, velvety silicone, this compact vibe has what looks like little butterflies or flower blossoms sparsely embossed on the shaft. There’s one on the tip, and a few more down the sides. Spring measures 5 1/2 inches long, and the shaft tapers and bulges slightly, with a diameter of about 1 1/4 inches and around 4 1/2 inches of girth. I didn’t think the gentle curves would even be noticeable because they’re so subtle, but I must say that Spring’s shape works really well for me. I also love the embossed texture towards the tip, as it adds some variety.
Since this vibe is waterproof, cleanup is super easy, but it’s important to pay close attention to the textured areas since residue can get trapped there. The silicone is nice and soft, but lint and dust likes to cling to it, and there is a little bit of surface drag, so water based lube only.
Packaging is the characteristic Fun Factory red and gray box, with a clear window display and a flap that opens to reveal more product information. Inside, Spring sits in a cardboard tray that slides out the top, and the instruction manual is tucked underneath. I’m keeping my Spring in a plastic bag and recycling the packaging, but the original box could be used for storage.
The magnetic charger comes in its own box, and GET THIS! It’s a universal cord that works with all the Fun Factory Click and Charge products. Initially, it takes about 3 hours to fully charge, and depending on which settings are used, the charge should last around 90 minutes on average.
The 2 control buttons are located at the base of the vibe. Simply press and hold the + button for a few seconds to turn the motor on. It starts out on a slow, rumbly continuous vibration. Keep pressing the + button to increase the speed. Once the motor reaches the highest intensity of constant vibration, pressing the + button again toggles through the 3 different pulse functions. There’s a slow, escalating pulse pattern, a medium pulse mode, and and short, sharp pulse setting. To go back to continuous vibration, simply press the – button, and to turn the vibe off, hold the – button until the motor gets all the way down to its slowest speed, then just push the – button once more.
This has very quickly become one of my favorite toys. The motor is powerful, fairly quiet, and its vibrations feel fantastic through the soft silicone. Plus, its compact size makes it ideal for use during intercourse as well as easy to pack for travel. This is one sex toy I highly recommend since it’s so versatile and suitable for anyone. Just please don’t use it for anal play since there’s no flared base.
