Harmonia

Close2You is a German sex toy company with an interesting philosophy. Understanding the connection between music, emotions, and moods, all of their products are meant to create “intimate togetherness in a harmonious atmosphereand have names keeping with the music theme. The Harmonia is their G-spot vibrator, and the awesome folks at EdenFantasys.com sent me one to try.

Silicone G-spot vibrator with multifunction vibrations.

Real quick, let me first rattle off the specs for those interested. Made from a soft silicone (so water-based lube only), Harmonia measures nearly 9 inches long with 6 1/2 inches of insertable length. The top crooks around in a curve designed for G-spot stimulation and measures close to 4 inches in girth. The shaft tapers just above the middle down to 3 inches in girth before flaring back out to nearly 5 inches of girth around the handle.

It runs on 2 AAA batteries, and while the cap doesn’t seem to go on very tightly, there is an O ring, and this toy is waterproof. As is typical with the softer silicone, there’s a little bit of skin drag and it attracts lint, but cleanup is easy with mild soap and warm water.

Harmonia comes in a sturdy white cardboard box, with a magnetic flip-top lid that lifts to reveal a clear plastic window on top. Nice and discreet, it’s perfect for gift-giving and great to keep for storage. The side has 2 drawers (which I think is really cool), the larger one on top houses the Harmonia in a molded foam insert.

In addition to the extensive user’s manual in many different languages, Harmonia also comes with a velvety travel/storage pouch, a sample of Glissando lube (too bad it has glycerin in it), a toy cleaner wipe sample, and a silicone cock ring. It also comes with batteries, which is nice, but I opted to use some new brand-name batteries to test it, as sometimes the batteries included with sex toys aren’t all that great.

Harmonia g-spot vibrator sex toyControlled by two buttons on the battery compartment cap, a power button turns the vibe on and off, and a function button cycles through the various settings. Harmonia has 3 speeds of constant vibration and six patterns: escalating, a busy signal pulse, a rev followed by 3 short pulses, a zig-zag pulse broken up with a longer pulse, and a pattern of 2 long pulses followed by 4 short pulses. The function button has a raised dot in the middle, making it easy to find and use even with lubed-up fingers.

The motor is located in the bottom half of Harmonia, right above the battery compartment, and that is where the vibrations can be felt the most. They do travel up the shaft to the tip, but the silicone muffles them. The power is reasonable for a 2 AAA battery motor, and I suppose it if had any more oomph my hand would go numb. Still, this vibe may not be enough for those who like a lot of power and intense vibrations.

The narrow part of the shaft is very flexible and bendy, but it’s still fairly firm. The top half can fold over on top of the lower half, and the middle is giving, but not what I would call squishy. This is actually kind of cool, because I found that one of the ways I like to hold this vibe is with the tip inserted, and then the rest of the vibe bent around against my labia for some external stimulation. I also quite liked it for thrusting, and more exploratory prodding, but all that great for firm pressure. There is a visible vertical seam up and down the shaft that I can occasional feel, depending on how I have the vibe positioned, but I don’t find it to be distracting.

Harmonia is so pretty and has such nice packaging that I was impressed with this sex toy before I even installed the batteries. Plus, it’s so affordable! There aren’t very many silicone vibes with multiple speeds and vibration patterns, complete with swag and an awesome box, that sell for $50. I think this one is well worth it

There's a typo in this sentence.
"I suppose it if had any more oomph my had would go numb."
Great review though, I knew what you meant to type.
