Babeland Remote Vibe Panty
I’ve wanted to try a pair of vibrating panties for a while because they seemed to me like an insanely fun sex toy to have. I looked at the Club Vibe and a few others, but I decided against them because the bullets weren’t cordless.
The whole reason I wanted a bullet vibe inside my panties was so I could give the remote over to somebody else to control. Since most bullets have a cord of around 30 inches, the person working the control is tethered to the wearer, so a cordless bullet has a definite advantage. When I saw the Remote Vibe Panties from Babeland.com, I knew I had to try them.
These are one-size-fits-most satiny panties with side ties for adjustability. Inside there is a gusset with a little pocket at the front for the bullet. They’re 97% polyester and 3% spandex, and there’s practically no stretch to the fabric.
The front panel measures 12 inches across the top, tapering down the 8 inch sides to 3 1/2 inches wide at the front seam. The crotch is lined with a more cotton-like fabric, and it’s about 3 1/2 inches long and tapers down to a 2 3/4 inch width in the middle. The back panel is also 12 inches across at the top, with 11 1/2 inches of tapering sides to the back seam, which is the back of the crotch gusset and also measures around 3 1/2 inches wide. The ribbon ties are 14 inches long.
Accompanying the panties is a cordless bullet vibrator measuring 2 1/2 inches long, 1 1/2 inch in diameter, 4 1/2 inches in girth, and has a 4-inch wire loop at the top. It takes 2 N size batteries, which I know isn’t a typical battery size to have around, but luckily it comes with 4. Both the bullet and the remote are made from plastic with a smooth, velvety surface.
The remote control has a wee clip on the end of its wire like a key fob, which may come in handy for some users. It measures 2 1/2 by 3/4 inches, with a thickness or around an inch. There are two buttons: on/function and off. There is a little light that flashes whenever the buttons are presses. It takes one size 23A battery, which is a new one on me, so I’m glad it comes with 2. My only gripe is that the slide-off battery compartment lid feels flimsy, but that so far has not affected the function or effectiveness of the vibe.
Speaking of which, there are some fun settings to play with: 3 speeds constant vibration, a short pulse, 3 short pulses followed by a long pulse, a pattern of 4 long-6 medium-many short pulses, a long extended vibration followed by 9 medium pulses, a slow rumbly constant vibration escalating to a fast pulse, a continuous escalating/rollercoaster vibration, and a slow long pulse then many short sharp pulses. Press the on button to start out at the slowest speed of constant vibration, then keep pressing to go to the next mode. There is a separate off button, which is great to have since it means the vibe can be turned off quickly without having to cycle through all the settings. I will say that the bullet can get a bit loud, so keep that in mind when planning to wear these out in public.
The packaging is awesome! Everything comes in a lovely little storage pouch, which I believe is the same material as the panties. The pouch measures 5 by 7 inches and has 6 inches of drawstring loop on either side of opening. So, it’s minimal packaging, with absolutely no waste and convenient storage!
All in all, I think Babeland’s Remote Vibe Panty is a great product, but unfortunately the panties don’t fit me. The panels are either too long, too wide, or both. If I had a more defined waist, then the ties would probably rest above my hips better, but on me they tend to slide down, and then the crotch sags, which means the panties aren’t in contact with me, and as a result neither is the bullet. I can really only use these when I wear something over them to help keep them in place. In times like this I regret never learning to sew, because I’m sure the panties can be easily altered. But there’s nothing to stop me from slipping the cordless bullet vibe into another pair of panties.
