Teardrop Bullet

Teardrop Bullet vibrator sex toyDoc Johnson sure does make a lot of sex toys, don’t they? Here is nifty wee product of theirs Babeland.com sent me to review. It’s called the Teardrop Bullet, and it’s a tiny little vibe made from smooth, shiny plastic. But the really cool thing is that this bullet is waterproof, so it can be enjoyed in the shower, and there are no worries when it comes to cleaning it.

The Teardrop Bullet comes packaged in a thin plastic box, held in place by a molded insert inside. The vibe is visible through the front, and while basic product info is printed on box, no real instructions are included. Doc Johnson claims this product is waterproof, but the specs posted on the Babeland.com website state that it is splashproof. So, while there are plastic seals where the wires attach and an O-ring under the battery compartment cap, I’m not sure I would submerge this one in water. It works really well in the shower, though.

Teardrop Bullet vibrator sex toyLike most bullets, this one consists of a separate remote battery pack controller connected to the vibe by a cord. The slender battery pack measures 5 inches long. It may seem a bit odd to have a remote this size for such a tiny little bullet, but I actually really like the battery pack. It fits easily in my hand and is very comfortable to hold. The micro-sized bullet itself is teardrop shaped, measuring just 1 1/4 inches long and only 3/4 of an inch at its widest, giving it a girth of 2 1/2 inches. The cord is nice and thin, so it doesn’t get in the way too much, and at 33 inches, it’s a good length.

This cute little bullet has plenty of oomph considering it’s only powered by 2 AAA batteries. There are 4 speeds of continuous vibration to play with, and the Teardrop Bullet is easily controlled by up and down buttons. Simply press the up arrow to turn the motor on and increase the speed, and press the down arrow to decrease speed and turn the vibe off. There are indicator lights so it’s easy to see which speed it’s on. Since there isn’t a separate power button, the user must cycle back down through the speeds to turn the bullet off. The vibration intensity at the highest speed is comparable in power to a Pocket Rocket Jr.

The tapered end is useful for pinpoint clitoral stimulation, and this is also a great one to wear inserted or leave tucked between labia, as it easily fits in underwear without any awkward bulging. While inserted, I also like to use it with either the power turned off or at the lowest speed to do my Kegel exercises by squeezing around it. The bullet is a really nice size for that.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like the Teardrop Bullet. I’ve tried quite a few bullet vibes, and I’m a huge fan of them in general, but it’s not always easy to find something that makes a particular bullet stand out from the rest. But not many bullets are waterproof/splashproof, and this one is pretty quiet, as well as nice and small, which makes it very discreet. It’s very effective and great for a quick climax or solo play sessions, as well as easy to incorporate into partner play since it isn’t distracting or intrusive.
