Luv Touch Flexa Pleaser
Bullets are highly effective vibrators, and as they vary in size, shape, and power, there’s certainly no shortage of styles to chose from. Since they’re typically controlled by a remote battery pack, they can be positioned anywhere, but this often means both hands are required for use: one to hold the bullet in place, and the other to operate the controls. Most aren’t cordless, so there is also the wire connecting the bullet to its remote to contend with. I recently discovered a vibe that doesn’t have those drawbacks.
I realize it’s technically not a bullet, but allow me to present Pipedream‘s Luv Touch Flexa Pleaser Waterproof Massager as an alternative. I’m going to call it the Flexa Pleaser for short. It’s essentially a bullet/egg on the end of a flexible stem (GENIUS!) that connects to a handle, which is where the batteries go and the control button is located. So, position the bullet wherever desired, then adjust the stem so that the handle is comfortably situated, and the user can control the placement and vibrations with one hand, which is very cool.
The Flexa Pleaser has a total length of 11 inches, 5 1/2 inches of which is battery compartment/handle. The flexible stem is around 2 1/2 inches and very bendy, allowing for many positioning options. The bullet/egg itself measures 2 inches long, an inch wide, and has a girth close to 3 1/4 inches. The vibe is plastic with that fabulous Luv Touch velvety finish, so it’s smooth with hardly any surface drag. There is a horizontal seam where around the middle of the bullet, and it is noticeable, but not at all bothersome.
The single-button control and 10 different vibration settings on the Flexa Pleaser are the same as the Classix 10. Push the button to turn the vibe on, cycle through the various functions, and then turn it off. I love this kind of control because it’s super easy, but having to keep pressing the button to turn off the power can be a drawback. Occasionally there is value in the ability to turn off a sex toy quickly.
Don’t worry though, because I figured out a quick fix with this vibe. Simply unscrew the battery compartment cap about half a turn (just enough to break the connection), and the power is off. This is much quicker than cycling back around to the off position. This does not work with all toys, though. Some vibes go right back to buzzing as soon as the battery cap is back on tight enough, but with the Flexa Pleaser the power stays off.
Here is a quick rundown of the 10 vibration options, in order:
- Slow continuous vibration.
- Medium continuous vibration.
- Fast continuous vibraton.
- Short, sharp pulses.
- A series of 4 short pulses followed by a medium pulse.
- Escalating/rollercoaster continuous vibration.
- Escalating/rollercoaster pulse.
- A pattern of 6 long pulses, 6 medium pulses, and then a lot of short pulses.
- A series of 10 short pulses then 1 very long pulse.
- Teaser mode: many (around 30 or so) short pulses then 1 very long pulse.
While the Flexa Pleaser and Classix 10 share the same motor functions, they are made from different materials, and I think Flexa Pleaser’s hard plastic makes the vibrations seem slightly buzzy. It’s not at all an unpleasant buzzy, as the vibrations still feel fantastic, and the intensity is similar.
I think the Flexa Pleaser is a great vibe. It’s very effective for clitoral stimulation, and it also works well when inserted for internal stimulation. Ideal for anyone new to sex toys, it’s modestly sized, smooth, adjustable, and has plenty of vibration options to experiment with. For vibe veterans or anyone who needs a lot of power, this one doesn’t have as much oomph as a wand-style massager, but I think it’s certainly enough to get the job done. I love my bullet on a bendy stick.
