I don’t mind saying it. I really love Njoy products. Already the proud owner of a Fun Wand and Pure Plug, I now have a Pure Wand in my possession. This is one I’ve been drooling over for a while. In fact, I very nearly got it a few months ago instead of the Fun Wand. I couldn’t make up my mind between the two and simply chose the less expensive option. But oh, I am so glad I have both now. Please see my page Why Do Kegels for basic information on the importance of keeping strong pelvic floor muscles.
Not long after my Joyballs Singleincident, I decided to try other sex toys designed to strengthen the PC muscles. I found a very affordable option in the Duotone Orgasm Balls from California Exotics. As is the case with most Kegel exerciser balls, these are hollow with a smaller, weighted ball inside. But unlike the silicone and elastomer vaginal balls I’ve previously used, these are made from hard plastic and connected by a nylon string. Read more…
There are so many more options out there now than just the old classic-style vibrators, and I’m always interested to see what new shapes and designs sex toy companies come up with. I received a Blue Venus from GoodVibes.com to review, and I think it’s a pretty unique looking vibe. Designed for clitoral use, this vibe offers several options.
Made from hard plastic with a velvet finish that makes the surface feel awesome, Blue Venus has a slightly wavy-shaped shaft and features an elongated oval indention on one side of the tip, which is great for warm-up and more general use, and a little protruding nub on the other, for concentrated and more pinpoint stimulation. The sides are smooth, with a very subtle seam that is visible, but I couldn’t really feel it. This vibe measures 7 1/4 inches in total length, including the little tab at the top, and its shaft is just over an inch in diameter, giving it a girth of 3 1/4 inches at its widest.
The packaging is a simple box with product pictures and basic information on the outside. Inside, the Blue Venus comes wrapped in plastic, and there is a little slip of paper with a diagram showing how to install the batteries. For toys like this that are easy to store because either their material doesn’t interact with other materials, their material doesn’t collect every spec of dust in the room, and/or their flat base allows them to stand up on their own, I appreciate minimal and recyclable packaging.
The Blue Venus is waterproof, so that means fun in the tub or shower and easy cleaning. Powered by 2 AA batteries, the multi-speed motor is controlled by a dial on the battery compartment cap. The dial on mine is very sensitive. It turns very easily and the power comes on at the slightest bump, so I have to store it with the batteries removed. The vibrations themselves are very rumbly, almost to the point of throbbing at the slower speeds. They get a little more buzzy at the surface at top speed, but it’s still pretty rumbly. The vibrations are strongest at the top of the vibe, but they travel along the shaft and can be felt all the way down to the battery cap. However, as much as I love how they feel elsewhere, those rumbly throbs don’t take long to make my hand go numb, and the shaft has the tendency to get really warm.
While this is definitely an effective vibe for me, it’s one I’d rather incorporate into foreplay or save for solo sessions. I tried unsuccessfully to use Blue Venus for added clitoral stimulation during intercourse, and I didn’t have much luck. I find it too tricky to hold the little nub in just the right spot when other parts of me are moving around, and using the oval-shaped indention didn’t work any better for me as the little nub then got in the way. But overall, I quite like the Blue Venus. It’s a very affordably priced sex toy, and I love its rumbly vibrations.
My most recent sponsored review product from EdenFantasys.com was the Belle De Jour Bustier. I thought it looked kick-ass hot (is that even a valid description or am I just making stuff up now?) so I requested it. My measurements are either at or slightly below the size chart, so I was pretty sure it would fit comfortably. I personally prefer to err on the side of slightly too big than a little too tight. This is actually a three-piece set, as the bustier comes with a matching g-string and thigh highs.
Doc Johnson sure does make a lot of sex toys, don’t they? Here is nifty wee product of theirs Babeland.com sent me to review. It’s called the Teardrop Bullet, and it’s a tiny little vibe made from smooth, shiny plastic. But the really cool thing is that this bullet is waterproof, so it can be enjoyed in the shower, and there are no worries when it comes to cleaning it. Read more…
Here is a very elegant looking sex toy from GoodVibes.com. They call it the C-Spot Vibrator, since it’s intended for clitoral stimulation, but really it can be used anywhere. The ultra-quiet motor and slender shaft make this one is discreet as well as sleek, and it’s also waterproof so users can enjoy it in the bath or shower. Read more…
This cute little vibe is the Bullet Bunny made by Rocks-Off Ltd, a leading adult toy manufacturer in the UK. I received one from Babeland.com to review, and I must say that I’m quite impressed with it. Essentially a RO-120 Bullet with a removable sleeve that transforms it into a rabbit-style vibe, it’s really two sex toys in one.
The Bullet Bunny comes ready to go with 2 AAA batteries already installed. Just unscrew the shiny battery cap and remove the little round disk that prevents the batteries from making a connection before using. Packaging is a thin plastic box, with useful product information and instructions printed on the back and bottom.
Luckily, this is a waterproof sex toy, so cleaning is easy with soap and water or toy cleaner. Just be aware that residue likes to accumulate in the raised company logo on both sides of the sleeve, close to where the rabbit attaches.
The RO-120 Bullet is slick, smooth plastic and has a total length of 5 inches, including its soft and squishy button. With about an inch of diameter, it measures close to 3 1/4 inches in girth until the tip tapers off to a point. There is the product name and logo embossed on one side of the shaft.
There are 2 very small raised lines, one on the battery compartment cap and the other on the back of the bullet shaft. These marks must be aligned in order for the vibe to work. This ensures the cap is on securely, which keeps out water and allows the batteries to have a good connection.
The sleeve is 6 inches long, with 1 1/4-inch diameter and a 4-inch girth. The attached bunny measures 4 1/2 inches from tail to ear tips. Made from a medical-grade, phthalates-free material called IntraMed, which is similar to silicone but has the added advantage of being recyclable, the surface is smooth with a little bit of drag. There is a 3/4-inch ridge just under the tapered tip, which adds some texture for more stimulation. While fairly soft and giving, the sleeve is still firm enough to hold its shape, and there isn’t much flexibility where the rabbit attaches to the shaft.
The simple, single-button control turns the motor on and cycles through the 5 vibration settings. There are 3 speeds of constant vibration, a pattern of short pulses, and a slowly escalating, almost throbbing, pulse. To turn the vibe off, just press and hold the button for a few seconds. No matter which mode the vibe is in when it’s turned off, it will always start with the slowest speed of continuous vibration.
Since there is just one motor, vibrations from the RO-120 Bullet travel through the sleeve as well as power the bunny. The rabbit ears are one piece, and while nice and flappy, don’t really pick up much of the vibration. They’re actually positioned a little too high for me anyway. I felt more vibration through the bunny’s nose, which is where it needs to be for clitoral stimulation.
I will say that the Bullet Bunny‘s vibrations feel more powerful with the new, brand-name batteries I put in it. I often find this is the case with sex toys that come with generic batteries, actually. The first time I used this toy I did not think it was all that powerful with the sleeve on. The next time I played with it, I couldn’t get it to work, and I thought the batteries had worn out, so I replaced them. Turns out, in the process of removing the sleeve to clean it, I had inadvertently unscrewed the cap just enough so the marks weren’t lined up, and that’s why it wasn’t working. But the vibration intensity felt through the sleeve was much stronger with my batteries. Without the sleeve, the RO-120 Bullet is nice and powerful, and at the higher intensities the vibrations get on the buzzy side. Not too much, but I wouldn’t like it any buzzier.
Also, the bunny’s body is hollow, so I suppose a micro bullet might fit inside and provide stronger vibrations through the body and perhaps the ears. I haven’t tried that yet, mostly because it only just now occurred to me. Come to think of it, the sleeve will probably fit over other small classic-style vibes, a couple of fingers, or perhaps even a slim dildo. I love sex toys that have a lot of options!
I have another rabbit review! This time it’s for Pipdream‘s WOW No. 1 vibrator. This is a more high-end line of products, and while they share similar designs and packaging, but they vary in size and functions. The WOW No. 1 is the smallest, and it’s a perfect size for beginners, those who know they prefer a modestly-sized toy, or anyone new to rabbit-style vibes. Read more…
Here’s an interesting take on the classic-style vibrator. This one, known as the Blueberry Buzz over at Babeland.com, is made from hard plastic and has a powerful multi-speed motor. The top half of its shaft features some bulbous ridges, making it look more like a large chess piece than sex toy. Read more…
I first heard about Deborah Sundahl and her book, Female Ejaculation & the G-Spot many months ago when she was interviewed on the Sex is Fun podcast. She spoke about female anatomy and how the G-spot works, stating any woman can learn to ejaculate because we all have the anatomy to do it. I guess the least we can do is try, right? So when Fascinations offered to send me a book to review, I eagerly requested this one. Read more…
Bullets are highly effective vibrators, and as they vary in size, shape, and power, there’s certainly no shortage of styles to chose from. Since they’re typically controlled by a remote battery pack, they can be positioned anywhere, but this often means both hands are required for use: one to hold the bullet in place, and the other to operate the controls. Most aren’t cordless, so there is also the wire connecting the bullet to its remote to contend with. I recently discovered a vibe that doesn’t have those drawbacks. Read more…

Classic-style vibrators are a sex toy staple. They’re versatile, effective, and easy to use. Most consist of a smooth, straight shaft, usually made from hard plastic or firm silicone, and they vary in length and girth. I recently received a Neon Luv Touch 10″ Vibe from Pipedream to review, and I now have new respect for slimline vibes. Read more…
