Classix 10 Function Japanese G-Spot
It’s no secret that I love dual-stimulation sex toys. The rabbit-style vibrator is well known and easily recognizable as a dual stimulator, but there are other designs that are also very effective. For example, pictured below is a Classix 10 Function Japanese G-Spot I recently received from Pipedream to review. I know that’s an insanely long name for a sex toy, so I’m just going refer to it as the Classix 10.
Rather than having an attached bunny-covered bullet, the Classix 10 has an offset shaft that creates a flat area at the top of the handle for clitoral stimulation. The bulbous, insertable tip measures 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches broad at its at widest point. So that’s a girth of 4 3/4 inches. At its narrowest part, the girth is only 3 1/2 inches. The clitoris-stimulating platform measures 1 1/4 inches wide and nearly 2 inches from where it meets the shaft to the pointy tip. There is a small (1 inch by 1 1/4 inches) oval of nubby texture on top of the platform. The handle is 3 1/2 inch, which allows the user to easily position and manipulate the toy, which measures 8 inches total in length.
The packaging is fairly basic. Classix 10comes wrapped in clear plastic inside a white cardboard box with product pictures and information printed on all sides. No real instructions are included. The toy requires 2 AAA batteries, and since it’s waterproof, cleaning is easy with soap and water or toy cleaner.
I’m not sure about the material, but I do know that it’s phthalates-free, as labeled on the box. I don’t think it’s silicone because toys that are usually gladly announce the fact on their packaging. Even so, I’d stick with water-based lube and store it in a plastic bag just in case. I did notice a slight chemical smell, which dissipated after washing and a few days airing. The surface is soft and smooth, with minimal drag. The only texture is the nubby oval on top of the clitoris-stimulating platform, which is very similar to the nubs on the tip of Hannah Harper’s Butterfly. While soft, it’s not really all that squishy, and I quite liked that texture for external stimulation.
The single button control is located on the bottom of the battery compartment cap. Push it to turn the vibe on, cycle through the 10 functions, and turn the vibe off. There are two motors, one in the bulbous insertable end and another under the platform. The button controls both motors simultaneously, so they must operate at the same setting. Luckily, there’s no shortage of vibration options with this toy. Here is a brief description of each mode:
- Slow continuous vibration.
- Medium continuous vibration.
- Fast continuous vibration. Honestly, I couldn’t tell that much of a difference between the medium and fast speeds.
- Short, sharp pulses.
- A series of 4 short pulses followed by a medium pulse.
- Escalating/rollercoaster. Only there’s not a lot of variation in intensity; I would have liked more range with this setting.
- Escalating pulse. This is a new vibe pattern for me, and I quite like it.
- A pattern of 6 long pulses, 6 medium pulses, and then a lot of short pulses.
- A series of 10 short pulses followed by a long pulse.
- Many (like 30) short pulses then 1 very long pulse. I call this one Teaser Mode, and even though it’s the last setting, I think it’s great to warm-up with.
The shaft’s bulbous tip gives me a lovely sense of fullness, and the vibrations, while powerful enough, are not overwhelming. This could be an advantage for anyone new to playing with internal vibrations. The clitoral stimulator works well, but I would prefer the pointy tip to be a little more giving. The lower half of the shaft is very bendy and flexible, so this vibe is easy to position comfortably and should suit most body dimensions. In addition to using this toy as intended, with the shaft inserted and the little platform stimulating the labia and clitoris, I also enjoy using it with with the shaft bent back against my vaginal opening and perineum, and the bulbous tip resting nicely along my butt crack. This is how I use it in the shower since it can be awkward to insert toys like this without lube, and water-based lube just washes away.
After really enjoying the Butterfly Kiss, I wanted to try the Classix 10 to see how it compares. The Classix 10 is definitely bigger, so it’s a great “step up” for anyone looking for more size to play with. Plus, it has 2 motors and many vibration patterns versus the single, 3-speed motor of the Butterfly Kiss. The Classix 10′s material not as squishy. Instead of having fluttering antennae, the Classix 10 has the nubby-textured platform that comes to a point for targeted clitoral stimulation. This toy is a great choice for anyone who struggles with rabbit-style vibes not fitting or those who find toys like the Butterfly Kiss too small.
