Trick Bondage Belt
Thanks to the generous giveaway hosted by Tales from the Toi Box, I became a proud owner of the Trick Bondage Belt by Leatherbeaten. A clothing accessory designed to double as light bondage gear, this is a super-cool belt and one kick-ass sex toy! Made from black leather with metal hardware, this belt measures around 45 inches from the top of the buckle to the end of the leather tip and fits up to a 40-inch waist.
The high-quality leather is a sturdy 1/8 of an inch thick. The buckle measures 1 1/2 inches across, and the two metal loops are 1 1/4 inches wide. My only gripe is that the 1 3/4-inch tall metal hardware makes it too big to fit through any of my belt loops. It’s a great universal size and design that is neither too clunky nor feminine. Not too flashy, but not too tame, the metal studs add a bit of glint and a hint of naughtiness.
While I am disappointed that the metal hardware makes it too wide to fit through the belt loops on my shorts and jeans, I still love wearing my Trick Bondage Belt because it goes great with my Judy Nails skirt.
The Trick Bondage Belt is very discreet and great for travel since it can go or be worn just about anywhere. Storage is no problem as it can hang next to other belts or chill out in the toy box. It comes packaged in a clear plastic bag with an easy-to-follow diagram and instructions printed on a small card. As the card indicates, the belt can be used as wrist, ankle, or thigh restraints. It worked great for me on my wrists and ankles, but it was too small to go around both my thighs using the configuration shown in the diagram.
As an alternative to following the chart above, you can also thread D backwards through C and then buckle A. This will essentially bypass the 6-inch leather spacer between the two loops, so that the wrists, ankles, or thighs are right against each other. In fact, this is the only way the belt fits my thighs. Using both loops, the belt only fits just above my knee.
During prolonged wear, the square metal rings pressing into my skin become a bit uncomfortable, but not enough to be distracting. Even so, I would love to have the same product in a softer leather, so I hope it becomes more supple over time. There were no specific care instructions included, but wiping down with a damp cloth has been working fine for me. I would think leather cleaner or saddle soap would also be acceptable.
The Trick Bondage Belt is a great item for anyone interested in using restraints, even total beginners. It’s easy to use, not intimidating, and I love that there is no set-up required or shapes and tethers to unpack, so this is ideal for spontaneous bondage play. Don’t just take my word for it, though.
