Whew, although it’s still uncomfortably hot outside, summer for me ends when the kids go back to school. Around here, that’s only a few weeks away. While I dread the early morning bustle and nightly chore of packing lunches, I have to admit I’m looking forward to having a bit more “me” time. Even just half an hour of self-indulgent pampering can make my day. In honor of summer vacation coming to an end, I’ve decided to host a giveaway, courtesy of the awesome folks at goodvibes.com. Yes, yes, I know I review a lot of dual-stimulation vibrators. That’s because I love them. They are all just a little bit different, and I love playing with the various sizes, styles, textures, and functions. Even the ones that don’t quite fit my anatomy are fun because I actually enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to adjust or position them to do their job. Read more…
I recently received a Lil Teaser Sassy to review for EdenFantasys.com. This is another effective vibe from California Exotics. It’s a very handy and discreet size, made from body-safe, phthalates-free silicone, and is waterproof. Read more…
Strap-on vibrators are fun and innovative sex toys. They usually consist of a bullet covered in a soft, shaped sleeve, and some feature an insertable appendage. Controlled by a remote battery pack, they can be worn discreetly underneath clothes for some secret teasing, used for solo play, or incorporated into partner sex. Pipedream recently sent me Monica Mayhem’s Butterfly Buddy to try. Read more…

While regular Astroglide was never a lube I liked due to the high glycerin content and thin consistency, I was pleased to see that they now offer a glycerin and paraben free water-based formula. It comes in the signature Astroglide curved bottle, only it wears a green flip-top cap. I found out today that there is also an Astroglide Natural, which is glycerin-free, so I requested a free sample on the Astroglide company website. Read more…
EdenFantasys.com sent me a Jelly Juggler bullet to review. Overall, I really like this toy. It’s a great little vibe to have on hand, whether you’re a sex toy novice or a more experienced user looking to explore some textures. It’s also aptly named. An alternate definition of the word juggler is to misrepresent something. The sleeve on this bullet looks and feels like jelly, but it’s actually body-safe, phthalates-free TPR. Read more…
Since I really like Pink Water lubricant, I’ve been wondering how I would like other lubes from the same product line. I’ve also been wanting to try a water and silicone based hybrid lube. So I was really excited when Fascinations sent me a bottle of Pink Unity to try. Read more…
Little Thumper is made from phthalates-free hard ABS plastic, a nonporous material that is compatible with any lube, but not a lot is necessary thanks to the smooth, slick surface. It also is a hygienic choice and easy to clean with either antibacterial soap and water, toy cleaner, or by wiping with isopropyl alcohol. Just be careful if you use the soap and water option not to get the battery pack, cord, or base of the bullet where the cord attaches wet since this is not a waterproof sex toy. Read more…
Curious to try the Butterfly Kiss Waterproof Vibrator, I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to review it for Good Vibrations, a leading online retailer of sex toys. This toy is a dual stimulator, similar to rabbit-style vibes, only smaller and designed a bit differently. Available in either pink or purple, it’s very affordably priced. Read more…

I love the Sex is Fun podcast, and I have been an avid listener for close to 4 years. The show is sponsored by GreatSexGames.com, a company that in addition to offering several games geared for swingers, produced Sex is Fun – The Game, which is a card game specifically for couples. You can download the rules and check the game out for yourself on the GreatSexGames.com website.
Sex is Fun – The Game consists of six categories of action cards, with seven male and seven female cards in each: Pillow Talk, Touch Test, Oral Action, Sex Play, Kinky Action, and Act it Out. Each player also gets “Decision” and “Prove it” cards. If you opt to keep score, which we typically do because I’m a competitive person, you’ll need poker chips or some other way to keep track of points. The game can go on for as long as the players want. The objective is to accumulate the most points, while in the process learning more about your partner and experimenting with new ideas.
Pillow Talk cards are great to start off with since no action is required, and they help encourage an open dialogue. The Touch Test deck addresses each partner’s play preferences, and is a great, non-threatening way to feel out how open your partner may be to new activities as well as getting an idea for how much they enjoy the old standbys. Oral Action cards, as their name suggests, are all about using your mouth. Sex Play cards address intercourse, while Kinky Action cards step up the game a bit by suggesting more adventurous activities. Now, unlike the other card categories, you don’t read the Act it Out cards to your partner. Rather, you guess how they will respond to the action listed on the card. You then perform said action and see if you predicted correctly. You can even come up with your own variations on the game or use strategies like bluffing, which the other partner can then call using one of his or her “Prove it” cards. Now the bluffing partner has to actually follow through or lose double the points.
I love this game because it’s an easy way to break routine and try something new. What I’ve found is that certain types of play I was hesitant to try when we first got the game I’m now willing to explore. You can go at your own pace, easily staying within your comfort zone or pushing your boundaries. You can have as many rounds as you like, or just let playing the game turn into having sex, which is often what happens around here.
Recently, GreatSexGames.com released a new title, Unpredictable, which was recently reviewed by Life on the Swingset. This new game features full-color, illustrated cards and a whole new realm of possibilites.
